Gown Customization

When shopping for your wedding dress, you’re looking for something unique that truly captures your personal style. Choosing a wedding dress that feels like you is important—you want to feel your most beautiful and confident on your wedding day. Sometimes, brides find they love the way a dress fits and think it’s perfect, but want to change one minor detail. The great news? This is usually something that can easily be done. We often work closely with Allure to customize gowns to be exactly what the bride is looking for. Even better? This means the gown truly is one-of-a-kind for your wedding day.

When you buy a dress from Allure, there’s plenty of options to customize the gown: you can add a layer of glitter tulle, add sleeves, change the neckline, fill in a plunging neckline, change the sleeve width—the possibilities truly are endless. For brides thinking of customizing, this is a great choice. Below, see the customizations one of of Bliss brides made to her Allure gown:

Above, you can see the original design: gorgeous, all-over lace creates a stunning fit and flare gown with a plunging neckline and delicate spaghetti straps. The swirling lace pattern works perfectly with the silhouette to emphasize the figure-flattering shape, creating an intricate, detailed gown we’re in love with.

The bride loved the dress too, but had been searching for a dress with long sleeves. The fit was perfect, the lace was to die for, and she loved the shape—so asking Allure to add sleeves to the gown became the easiest solution. And wow, did adding sleeves turn out perfectly!

Allure used the same gorgeous lace to create a stunning bell sleeve. The flared sleeve matched the bohemian tone of the dress perfectly, and came out exactly as the bride envisioned. Mirroring the fit and flare silhouette, you’d never guess these sleeves were not a part of the original design of the dress!

Want to see how well Allure works with brides to customize? Here’s that same lace fit and flare, also with a long sleeve added—however, this bride preferred a more classic illusion sleeve, and wanted the plunging neckline to be less revealing. Allure brought this vision to life as well:

Altering the neckline to create a classic sweetheart shape, Allure completely changed the look of this gown to create something perfect for this bride. The classic illusion sleeves add to the gown’s look, taking it from boho to traditional with a few minor tweaks.
